Atlas is operated by Pebble House, a Travel AI, Inc. company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use Atlas — our map-first platform for food and travel content creators and their audiences.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create a creator account we collect your email address, display name, username, and any profile details you provide (bio, avatar, social handles).

Content you create. Maps, pins, place notes, and any media you upload are stored and associated with your account.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with Atlas — pages visited, features used, and actions taken — to understand usage patterns and improve the product.

Device and technical data. We receive standard browser and device information including IP address, browser type, and referring URLs when you access Atlas.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a creator's paid content, payment processing is handled by Stripe. Atlas does not store your full card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and provide the Atlas platform to creators and their audiences
To authenticate your account and keep it secure
To process subscription payments and creator payouts
To send transactional emails (login links, receipts, important updates)
To improve Atlas by understanding how the product is used
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content or usage data to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

Atlas relies on the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
Stripe — payment processing and creator payouts
Mapbox — map rendering and geocoding
Google — OAuth sign-in (optional)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data processed on our behalf.

4. Data Sharing

We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

With service providers listed above, who process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements.
With creators whose content you subscribe to — they receive your subscription status but not your full profile.
When required by law — in response to valid legal process, court orders, or to protect our rights.
In a business transfer — if Pebble House or Travel AI, Inc. is acquired or merges, user data may transfer as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, transaction records).

6. Cookies

Atlas uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of Atlas require cookies to function correctly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Export your data in a portable format

8. Children

Atlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify creators by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Atlas after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
