Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Welcome to Atlas, operated by Pebble House, a Travel AI, Inc. company (“Pebble House,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Atlas (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Atlas is a white-label platform that enables food and travel content creators (“Creators”) to publish curated, map-first location guides and monetize them through subscriptions or consumable purchases (pay once for permanent access). Readers and fans (“Subscribers”) may access Creator content through the Service.
2. Account Registration
Atlas offers open self-serve signup. To create content or make purchases you must register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Promptly update your account information if it changes.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Creator account or make purchases through the Service.
3. Creator Content
Ownership
Creators retain full ownership of the content they publish on Atlas, including text, images, map annotations, pin descriptions, and other materials (“Creator Content”). Pebble House does not claim ownership of Creator Content.
License to Pebble House
By publishing Creator Content on Atlas, you grant Pebble House a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or terminate your account.
4. Subscriber Terms
Access
Subscribers may purchase access to Creator maps and guides as either a subscription (recurring access) or a consumable purchase (pay once for permanent access). Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.
Refunds
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@atlas.mu within 14 days of the charge. We reserve the right to grant refunds at our sole discretion.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without permission.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
6. Payment Terms
Atlas supports two distinct payment relationships, each handled by Stripe.
What your audience pays you
When a Subscriber buys a subscription or a consumable guide from a Creator, the payment is processed through Stripe Connect with the Creator as the merchant of record. Atlas takes a 0% sales fee: we do not take any percentage of what a Creator’s audience pays them. The only sales-side cost is Stripe’s standard payment-processing fee (approximately 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction), which Stripe charges and which the Creator pays directly to Stripe. Atlas does not add a commission or take any cut of Creator sales.
By making a purchase, you authorize the relevant payment to be charged to your payment method for the amount displayed at checkout. Payouts to Creators are settled by Stripe according to Stripe’s payout schedule.
7. Creator Subscriptions
Separate from how your audience pays you, Creators may subscribe to Atlas itself to run their maps and guides. For these Creator subscriptions, Atlas (Pebble House) is the merchant of record and billing is handled through Stripe Billing.
Plans
Atlas offers a Free plan and paid Starter and Pro plans. Paid plans are billed in US dollars, either monthly or annually, at the price shown at checkout. Annual billing is offered at a discount to monthly.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Paid Creator subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid access until then, and you are not charged again after cancellation.
Managing your subscription
You can view, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Creator subscription, and update your payment method, through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your Atlas settings.
Founding Creator rate
The first 100 Creators to subscribe to Pro may lock a Founding Creator rate of $39.99 per month, which remains in effect for the life of that subscription. If a Founding Creator cancels, the founding seat is forfeited: resubscribing later is billed at the then-current standard Pro price, and the founding rate does not carry over.
Refunds for Creator subscriptions
Creator subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at legal@atlas.mu within 14 days. We may grant refunds at our discretion.
8. Plan Entitlements and Downgrades
Each plan includes limits on pins (your library size), guides, and team seats, and some features (such as a custom domain, white-label branding, and detailed analytics) are available only on the Pro plan. Current limits and features for each plan are shown on our pricing page.
If you downgrade to a lower plan or your paid subscription lapses, any content that exceeds your new plan’s limits is locked and hidden from your audience. It is never deleted. Re-upgrading to a plan that covers that content restores access to it.
9. Intellectual Property
The Atlas platform, including its design, software, trademarks, and all non-Creator content, is owned by Pebble House and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pebble House and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Creator Content will be removed within 30 days unless required to be retained by law. Subscriber access to purchased content will end upon account termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
